CAMA – The Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators is a non-profit association open to all senior managers dedicated to improving municipalities across Canada.
I recently joined Access E11, and this was my very first CAMA Conference. I was excited to be able to meet the people our Citizen Issue Software Solution Management Software is intended for.
I’m giving the 2019 CAMA Conference two big thumbs up! A huge thank you goes out to CAMA Executive Director, Jennifer Goodine, and her wonderful team for their exceptional work; they made being an exhibitor at the conference easy and seamless.
Friendly is understatement when it comes to CAMA members. I found the CAO’s, City Managers and all the municipal administrators who were in attendance to be so welcoming. It was apparent the pride each has for their respective communities, and how valuable they find these networking opportunities – not only for CAMA members with their peers, but also with the exhibitors. Regardless of the size of the municipality, they are all striving to make their communities better.
I was also very happy to confirm that one of their priorities is ensuring that when citizens reach out to their municipality with a concern, that they manage the procedure to from this first dialog through to closure more efficiently. They were eager to learn about what Access E11 can do to assist and see how they could integrate us into their workplace to achieve those goals. It excites me to know that there is a genuine and consistent need for our solution across Canada.
I was also lucky enough to meet several of our current customers in person and find out how Access E11 is making their municipalities run more efficiently. These face-to-face conversations are so valuable on and I am extraordinarily grateful to CAMA for providing such important networking opportunities to its members.
I’m looking forward to chatting further with all the members we connected with at the 2019 CAMA Conference, but
if you were not able to attend, or if we did not connect directly at the show – there was a lot going on – I would be happy to speak with you one on one at any time.
